Simple Steps to Exfoliate Your Arms and Hands

As you already know, the arms and hands are some of the most exposed parts of the body throughout the daily life. That is why in this article, we will provide a few simple steps to specifically exfoliate your arms and hands.

However, before we begin, we need to clarify that we recommend carrying out these tips no more than twice a week, because the skin is very sensitive and weak to sun rays.

Tip #1

Hand dryness is quite common among individuals, regardless of age. It’s commonly due to several factors, like domestic chores, a lot of time under the sun, and more. For this first tip, you’ll need to make a simple homemade mask with the following ingredients:

Two Tbsp. honey
One potato
Two Tbsp. milk
Two Tbsp. olive oil

Start by boiling the potato. Peel it and then puree it. Add olive oil, milk and honey. Mix well until the paste no longer has any clumps, and until creating a smooth texture. The next step is to apply it to your hands. Let it set for 20 minutes and then rinse with warm water.

Tip #2

If what you’re looking for are very soft arms and hands, there’s nothing better than sugar and honey because they are excellent exfoliants.

Mix a bit of honey with sugar and let it go to work for 10 minutes. Give yourself small massages to improve absorption, which will also be relaxing.

Wash off with warm water.

Tip #3

It is very important that you remove dead skin cells, which is why we’re giving you this natural and inexpensive recipe. You will need:

1/2 c. sugar
1/2 glass lemon juice

Mix both ingredients until well blended. Rub it over your arms and hands for 10 minutes, washing away with plenty of water afterwards. To end this whole moisturizing process, apply hand cream.

Tip #4

Just as bad, or perhaps even worse that hand dryness, are skin marks. Below, we’re going to teach you a very simple recipe using products that you probably have at home, to solve this problem:

One cucumber
One Tbsp. olive oil
A bit of parsley
Juice from one lemon

Add the cucumber, lemon juice, previously diced parsley, and the olive oil in a blender. Blend into a smooth mixture. Apply the mask to your hands and let it set for 15 minutes; then wash with warm water. Change will be noticed immediately.

These short tips will help you greatly to beautify, exfoliate, and take care of your arms and hands. Remember to use these tips for several weeks, which will provide better results.
